Anna Cummings (n. St John’s, Canada, 1990) is a conceptual documentary and fine-art photographer based in Paris, France. Her practice is increasingly based around reflections between terrestrial and mental landscapes and alternative representations of the border in contemporary Europe. She has participated in group exhibitions at Konnektor Forum für Künste, Hannover (2016) and 47/49 Tanner Street, London (2017), and contributed an edition to Carpe Diem Arte y Pesquisa's traveling collection based in Lisbon in 2018. In 2013 she obtained a Bachelor’s degree with honours in Peace, Conflict and Justice Studies from the Munk School of International Relations at the University of Toronto; she is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Photography and Contemporary Art at the Université de Paris VIII (expected June 2018). Living and working in Paris as a photographer, videographer, and translator, past commercial clients include Vice Media (FR), Snapchat (FR), ANY Communications (FR), UNI-Presse (FR), Oriental Daily News (HK), IBILITY (HK), and more.
